Le Garage Gourmet Burger operates two restaurants - El Gouna and New Cairo - and this website, where you can browse the menu and place an order for delivery or pickup.

The business responsible for your data is Le Garage, Next to Moods, Abou Tig Marina, MB13-05, El Gouna, Red Sea, Egypt. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].

Only what an order actually needs:

• Your name, email and phone number - to confirm the order by phone and to tell the driver who to ask for.
• Delivery address and your directions for the driver - the gate code, which entrance, landmarks. Only for delivery orders.
• What you ordered and any notes you leave - allergies, preferences, requests for the kitchen.
• Account details, if you create an account - the same contact details plus any addresses you choose to save, and your order history.
• If you sign in with Google - your email address, name and profile picture. Nothing else; we do not request access to any other Google data.

• Card details. Payment happens on delivery - cash, or the driver’s card terminal. No card number is ever entered on this website or stored by us.
• Any Google data beyond your email, name and profile picture.
• Your location. We use the address you type, not your device.

• A sign-in cookie, if you have an account - it keeps you signed in. It is removed when you sign out.
• Your cart, stored by your own browser so it survives closing the tab. It stays on your device and is only sent to us when you place the order.
• Google Analytics cookies. We count visits with Google Analytics, to see which dishes people look at and whether the menu is easy to get around. It records the pages you open, roughly where in the world you are and what kind of device you use. It is never told your name, your email, your phone number or your address, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.

We do not use advertising cookies and there is no ad network on this site. If you would rather not be counted at all, Google publishes a browser add-on that switches Analytics off everywhere: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Your browser’s «Do Not Track» setting and its own tracker blocking work here too, and nothing on this site stops working without Analytics.

• Our staff. The kitchen and floor team see the order, your contact details and your notes, because that is how the order gets made and delivered.
• The driver sees your address, your directions and your phone number - for delivery orders only.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with Google, under Google’s own privacy policy.
• Google Analytics receives the visit itself: which pages were opened, from roughly which country and on what kind of device. It is not given your order or your contact details.
• Our hosting provider, DigitalOcean, which runs the servers the site and database sit on.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

• Orders - 5 years, for accounting and to settle any dispute about an order.
• Your account and saved addresses - until you ask us to delete them.

• You can order as a guest - an email address is enough, no account required.
• You can edit or delete any saved address yourself, at any time, in your account.
• You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within 48 hours.

Deleting your account removes your profile and saved addresses. Orders already placed are kept for the period above, because we are required to keep records of completed sales.

This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
